This was my first time here and we loved it! The service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was a great place for a date. Carborro is a small secret in this part of the Triangle, but this place is one reason this little town makes a great little trip! Would HIGHLY recommend this place! The place may be Glasshalful, but our buckets were completely full!

Went here for a sweet valentines day dinner and wasn't disappointed. Multiple vegetarian and vegan options. They have a large collection of wines and many recommended their Hopler. Would definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand. We were stuck in traffic on I-40 and were almost 20 min late but they were really sweet to accommodate us with zero wait time. It is an expensive place to dine at but it's okay to splurge once in a while. :)

Was happy with every part of the meal. The brussel app was an excellent start, my cocktail was quite good and the grilled fish was delicious. The brownie dessert was quite good as well. Overall, an excellent meal in an attractive environment. Next time we want to sit at the patio under the lights.

The cocktails were delicious, the food was very good. They took a very long time bringing out our entrees and just when I thought I should say something about it, a manager came out and apologized, brought us some fries to snack on, and comp’d our entire meal without us saying a word. We only ended up paying for drinks. I thought that was incredibly gracious and considerate. Would go back.

Dined on the leafy patio on a delightful evening. Excellent and reasonably priced wine list. Many options are gluten free, including the dessert menu, which is unusual. I highly recommend the arugula and beet salad. My husband had the hangar steak and I had the short rib. Both absolutely scrumptious. The duck leg special sounded delicious, but, unfortunately, they had sold out by the time we arrived. We split the lemon olive oil drizzle cake for dessert, a perfect ending to a fine meal. Our server was new, but charming and helpful. We will return soon.

This place is delicious! The menu is clearly marked with gluten free and nut free options. They have a separate fryer for those who can’t be exposed to cross contamination. The menu had a lot of options and definitely more of a menu for foodies. We had the steak frites and scallops and shared plates. They also brought out some gluten free crackers they make in house and Wow- we loved them. We finished off the night with the budino and hands down it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great meal!

My husband and I had a lovely date night tonight at Glasshalfull! We’ve been here before with friends and enjoyed it, but since we live in Durham, it’s not a restaurant that comes to mind as often. I was looking for a place to have dinner for a little celebration and saw that they had an extensive gluten-free dessert selection :) So we came tonight and plan to definitely keep this on our list of places to go! From the delicious, delicate salads, to the gluten-free crisps (yum!!) that came with the cheese appetizer to the entrees, to the gluten-free desserts, to the wonderful server (India), it was such a great night. I have to say that it was the best brownie that I’ve had in quite a while (GF and otherwise). It was baked in its own ramekin so there were “edges” all the way around and on the bottom - if you are someone who loves the edge pieces of brownies, this is the one for you! Yes, the prices are a little higher, but that’s because they pay a working wage for their staff and so tipping is optional. The tables are nicely spaced so that you’re not right up against others. It was a cool night tonight, so we sat inside, but it looks like they have nice outdoor seating, so I hope we can come sometime and enjoy that :)

It was my first time at Glasshalfull, and I was so impressed with my visit here. My boyfriend and I split a couple of appetizers and shared bites of each other's main dishes. Our cheese plate that we chose had some blue cheese, crackers, and an off-the-charts good citrus preserve with honey. I would have bought a jar of it if it were available. We also ordered a charcuterie app, a salad that was great, and I had a fantastic egg tart. My boyfriend ordered the chicken sandwich, and that was delicious as well. The plates aren't overflowing with too much food, the way some restaurants have a tendency to do. We loved every plate of food we ordered. Everything went extremely well together. Service was outstanding and timely. We got to eek out what little was left of patio weather, which was nice. I give this place a 10/10 and hope to come back very soon. To the individual that curates the menu, you get a massive gold star.
